These are the 8 images I have chosen for my pattern image bank, I have chosen a mix of natural and man made patterns, including the patterns within a flower an the patterns in a pavement. all of these images show repetition which means they will all fit into the pattern theme very well. 

This image shows pattern very well because all of the shapes in the centre of this flower are very similar and due to also being the same colour they show pattern very effectively. Due to this being a macro image, we can see the detail in this flower very clearly and although the colour is very prominent, this is clearly a pattern photograph. 

This image shows pattern in a slightly different way, in some of my other images, pattern is shown through something natural, for example the petals of the flower or the snake skin however this shows pattern over a building by the person who made this building using the shape shapes to cover the entire outside of the building. This is very unusual and people may struggle to see the pattern within this because of the shape of the building however I feel that it is still quite evident.
